What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is until 10:30. Early check-in and late check-out may be available on request, subject to availability. You can leave your luggage with us before check-in or after check-out.
Is breakfast included in the room rate?
Yes, Italian breakfast is included in all room rates. We serve fresh pastries, local cheeses, cold cuts, fruit, yogurt, cereals, and of course excellent Italian espresso and cappuccino. Breakfast is served in our historic dining room.
How do I get to the hotel from the airport?
From Marco Polo Airport, the most scenic option is a private water taxi directly to Campo Santa Maria Formosa (approximately 25 minutes, around EUR 120). Alternatively, take the ACTV Alilaguna water bus (Blue line to San Zaccaria or Orange line to Rialto) and walk 5-10 minutes. We're happy to arrange transfers for you.
Is the hotel pet-friendly?
Yes, well-behaved pets are welcome at Palazzo Vitturi. There is a supplement of EUR 50 per stay (not per night). Please let us know in advance so we can prepare your room accordingly.
Do you have rooms with a balcony?
Yes, our Deluxe Double with Balcony and Deluxe Suite with Balcony both feature private balconies overlooking Campo Santa Maria Formosa. The Deluxe Double also has original 13th-century frescoes on the ceiling. These are our most requested rooms, so we recommend booking early.
How far is the hotel from San Marco and Rialto?
We are located in the Castello district, 5 minutes walk from Rialto Bridge and 10 minutes walk from Piazza San Marco. The Biennale Gardens are about 20 minutes on foot. A vaporetto water bus stop is just 2 minutes away.
Can you arrange restaurant reservations and tours?
Absolutely. Our concierge service can arrange restaurant reservations at the best local trattorias, private guided tours, gondola rides, water taxi transfers, museum tickets, and exclusive experiences like glass-blowing in Murano or lace-making in Burano.
Is there WiFi available?
Yes, complimentary high-speed WiFi is available throughout the hotel, including all rooms and common areas.
Do you offer a welcome drink?
Yes, all guests are welcomed with a complimentary Prosecco and Venetian cicchetti on our campo terrace (weather permitting). It's the perfect way to begin your Venice experience.
What is the cancellation policy?
Our standard rate offers free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival. Non-refundable rates with additional discounts are also available. Please check the specific conditions when booking, as promotional rates may have different terms.
Is the hotel suitable for families with children?
Yes, families are very welcome. Our Family rooms accommodate up to 4 guests, and the Junior Suite and Deluxe Suite can host up to 4-5 guests. Cots for infants are available on request at no extra charge. Campo Santa Maria Formosa is a safe, family-friendly square.
Is the building accessible?
Palazzo Vitturi is a 13th-century historic building, and like many Venetian palazzi, it has stairs and may present accessibility challenges. Please contact us directly to discuss your specific needs, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
